    Toiyabe provides a wide array of health care services, including medical, dental, dialysis, pharmacy, optometry, family services and public health services. Toiyabe provides service to people of all ethnicities and races. Some programs are limited to Native American patients only. Check their website to see which clinics are accepting new patients for certain services. Toiyabe's main clinic is located in Bishop, with satellite clinics located in Lone Pine and Bridgeport. The Dialysis Clinic is located in Bishop as well.

    Family Services provides comprehensive healing and wellness programs by integrating traditional cultural practices and Western medicine treatment modalities. 

    • Wellness & Recovery: offers supportive and stigma-free environment to walk the path of recovery. Services include level-of-care assessments, daily outpatient treatment, Medication-Assisted Treatment, Contingency Management, and more
    • Behavioral Health: offers individual, family, and group therapy. Psychiatric care is available to patients receiving services. 
    • Youth Prevention: organizes culturally based outreach events, educational activities, and health awareness campaigns to address behavioral and public health issues, such as the prevention of drug and alcohol use, suicide awareness, and pregnancy prevention.

    Northern Inyo Associates Pediatrics offers preventative care for newborn through age 21 years. Walk-in services include immunizations, blood pressure checks, weight checks, fluoride varnish treatments, WIC forms, anemia testing, hearing screening for patients 4+ and age appropriate vision testing for patients 9+ months. Northern Inyo Associates pediatricians also care for infants and children who are admitted to Northern Inyo Hospital.

    The Bronco Health Clinic is a school-based health center formed by Northern Inyo Healthcare District and Bishop Union High School. A school-based health center brings a healthcare provider into a school, helping reduce absences, dropout rates, disciplinary problems, and other negative academic outcomes. The Bronco Clinic helps encourage students to become more responsible for their health early on and increases access to healthcare.

    The Bronco Clinic provides acute visits for minor illness and injuries, initial treatment for acute asthma attacks, acne treatment, treatment for depression, anxiety and substance use, reproductive health services including birth control, sexually transmitted disease (STD) testing and treatment, over-the-counter medication for pain and allergies, referrals to community agencies, and health education.

    Rural Health Clinic is a primary health care home for the whole family. Services include geenral family practice, care of acute illness/injury (colds, flu, minor cuts, sprains, and strains), immunizations for all ages, preventative care, women's health, pediatrics, and more.

    Services: Northern Inyo Healthcare District offers the only hospital in the area, and provides the community with high quality, comprehensive health services. The full-service critical access hospital provides 24-hour emergency care and is ready to receive patients when they need help the most.  Additionally, they provide a variety of specialty services, including obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, family medicine, geriatrics, orthopedics, general surgery and more.

    Services: 

    Public Health Division promotes optimal community health through disease and injury prevention, education, policy development, and more. 

    STI Testing and Family Planning Services: Anyone 12 and older may receive these services confidentially and without parental consent: free STI testing for eligible individuals. Our STI tests cover Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, and HIV. $10.00 Rapid HIV Tests. $5.00 Pregnancy Tests.

    Condom Dispensers: Free condoms are accessible throughout Inyo County. Call our office for more information.

    Tuberculosis Screening: TB Risk Assessments are free. TB skin tests are available for $20 (exact cash or check) and are offered only on Tuesdays from 1-4 PM. You must return on Thursday at the same time to have the results read and receive a signed form.

    Free Vaccines: Free vaccinations are available for eligible children through our Vaccines for Children Program. Free flu vaccinations are offered to adults and children six months and older. Home-delivered vaccinations are available at no-cost for those who meet eligibility criteria. 

    Pop-Up Vaccine Clinics: Visit our website for updates on mobile vaccine events. Pop-up flu clinics run October through November, or get vaccinated at our Public Health clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while supplies last.

    Education/Consultation: The Public Health nurses are available to provide educational materials and counseling. Please come by during our walk in clinic hours or give us a call.

    Medical Marijuana Identification Card Program: The Medical Marijuana Identification Card Program is available only to individuals who have a valid physician's recommendation and have completed all required documentation before applying. 

    Free Narcan Opioid Reversal Kits: Free Narcan opioid overdose reveral kits. Organizations requiring regular distributions are encouraged to visit the Inyo County Public Health website for more information.

    SIHD Rural Health Clinic offers comprehensive healthcare close to home including primary and urgent care needs. Specialty services available on a monthly or bi-monthly basis includes diabetes management, family practice, Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder, orthopedics, pediatrics, podiatry, psychiatric services, and wellness checks.

    Valley Health Medical Services offers a wide variety of services in patient care. Adult services include OB-GYN, perinatal, physical exams for health maintenance, onsite basic labs, drug screening, nutrition education, and immunications.
